Our charity minibus has a 6 monthly check on the tail lift. Good admin and engineer has never been late. Job completed, paperwork done, friendly team and everyone happy. Would recommend to others needing this type of work.

I had a Braun side lift in a VW Caravelle disabled adapted vehicle. Unfortunately the hoist developed a fault. Three garages failed to find the fault. Excel was recommended to me. The Excel engineer was obviously very familiar with the equipment and diagnosed within five minutes of arrival. He had to order the parts, but later fitted them and the lift worked like new ever since. I would recommend Excel wholeheartedly.

My name is Steve, I am T:12 Paraplegic, so confined to a wheelchair, I got my first van with a lift built in 2009, so within a few months I was getting problems with my lift which was under my VW Caravelle, it came out in the middle of the side door from under the van, which I had for 5 years and now I have a Mercedes Sprinter since 2014.
So from what I can remember the first time I called, I spoke to Sharon who runs the office and the lads, Sharon was very professional and after introducing myself Sharon ask my my van registration so she could look on the system to see who I was and made sure I was covered, then I told Sharon what was wrong and with that Sharon told me when one of the lads would be out to sort out the problem.
It was a day or so when Phil came out, he & I hit it off straight away, he is so friendly, he got straight to work and I made him a cup of tea and let him fix the lift, which he did no problem. And since then I’ve called every time I’ve had a problem, and as always, Sharon has been at the end of the phone with a friendly voice asking what is the problem, I love them because within minutes they have given you a time & date that one of the lads will be out to sort the lift out within a few days.
You can’t ask more than that, I’m very happy with the service and will continue to use them as long as I have a van with a Lift in.
